FONDO FLAMENCO

My favourite band is called Fondo Flamenco. This group consists of three people. The vocalist: Sevilla, Alejandro (Astola), Antonio and Rafael.

It all started when Astola and Rafael met, at the age of 13. Later, Antonio joined them and put the word out to the first topics that Astola wrote and composed for the group.

The group is called Fondo Flamenco because Rafael and Astola were in Sevilla taking photos in a typical Sevillian courtyard, when Astola said: ''Let's get a picture in the background flamenco...'' and since then, they decided to name the group “Fondo Flamenco”.

They made a demo with only 7 songs, which hung on the internet and it was very successful.

In late 2007, Senator editions gave them the opportunity to make his first album to market, this is called Contracorriente, with 11 compositions Astola.

In 2008, they released their second album, “Las cartas sobre la mesa”. This album was very successful, with 14 compositions.

In 2010, they relised another album, “Que paren el mundo que me bajo”. This album shows a little mixture between flamenco and pop.

The song that I like is El ultimo adios, letter.

I love this group because it is a group that started singing flamenco, and now they are singing a mixture of flamenco and pop. I think I like them just because they are different from the rest, I heard them on Youtube.

MY BEST FRIEND

I am going to speak about my best friend. Her name is Andrea. She is tall. She has got brown hair and green eyes. She loves skating, and likes football like me. I like listening to music (reggaeton, flamenco...) more or less we like the same music, we are very similar. She is a person who has clear ideas. She still is a child but sometimes she can be very mature.

It all started 2 years ago, we started the high school, we were put in the same class, we were all day together in class, during the break and outside the school in the bus... but then, I had another best friend, Ona, and she had 2, Marta and Sara. She had a fight with Marta and ceased to be best friends, even the fight Sara never stopped being Marta’s best friend. Ona and I also had a fight and stopped being best friends. Andrea and I just told each other everything.
This summer we have been together almost every day, we had a great time... So I told her it was like my best friend, and from that moment I was going to be, but we had to keep the secret because otherwise Sarah would get angry with her... (seems silly, but it was important to her).
It was running the summer when her mother told her they were going to change classes. At that time called me and I didn’t know what to say... because I knew it would not be the same, we would stop talking... I was pretty bad at first, then the course started and it seemed that everything was going well until we only talked when we met and when we were... Now we talk a bit more, but everything has changed, and nothing is the same!

Hi, my name is Miriam!

I’m fourteen years old. My birthday is the 13th of January. I have blonde, curly hair and blue eyes. I can be very nice with the people who I like, but I can be very rude with the others. I am one of these persons that you can tell me a secret and I won’t tell anybody.

I have two sisters Ester and Rut and a brother called Joel. I’m from Barcelona. My hobbies are listening to music and surfing the net.. I play football in Can Massuet, Dosrius. These are some of my favourites.

My favourite food is pizza.

My favourite colour is blue.

My favourite number is four, I play football with this number.

My favourite actor is Javier Hernández.

My favourite films are Love me if you dare ‘’Quiéreme si te atreves’’ and Three meters over the sky ‘’Tres metros sobre el cielo’’.
